Rhossili Bay, Rhossili, Swansea

What do you do in Swansea? Of course, the beach! The most beautiful beaches in Swansea are mainly in the Gower Peninsula, half-hour drive from Swansea. The most famous beach is Rhossili Bay. Rhossili Bay has been ever voted as the most beautiful beach in Europe, with large stretches of fine sand beaches which are incredible. Rhossili Beach stretches for 3 miles, and the beach is dominated by white sand.

At the southern end of the bay, is a tidal island named Worm’s Head. This island can only be accessed during low tide.  During low tide, numerous ship wrecks can be spotted along the beach.

Woolacombe is located in North Devon, is a very well maintained beach. It was crowned “Best British Beach” by Coast Magazine in 2012  and No.1 on Tripadvisor!  And according to British opinion polls, Woolacombe Beach has always been in the top three in the tourist satisfaction list. 

Woolacombe is sheltered by  cliffs, green hills and  dunes. the beach stretches for 3 miles long, from Putsborough Beach on the south to the town of Woolcombe. and it’s also one of the best  place to watch the sunset. With it’s large tidal range, it’s a very easy place for surfing beginners.
